 It’s way too early in the morning, you feel like you haven’t slept at all, but your kids are jumping all over you and wants you to get up NOW. 

You notice you just got your period and feel the heaviness in your body. You feel depleted already and its not even 6AM in the morning. You feel like you just need to survive this day and when the kids are finally asleep you feel empty and numb, and spend all your freetime’ scrolling endlessly on your phone or falling asleep in front of the Netflix.

NOW PICTURE THIS:

The same day, but you carve out 10-15 minutes in the morning or maybe 15 minutes when the kids are put to bed, to prioritize your softness practice, to create space for yourself. You connect to your body, you find calm in your mind, you are checking in with other mothers reminding you that you’re doing such an amazing job, and that you are not alone in all your feels.

Suddenly the day shifted. You feel calmer and more connected to yourself. You feel how you took care of yourself, and that makes you more able to take cafe of others around you. You feel empowered by being a part of a mother movement towards a better world. 


You feel soft inside and out.

WHY MOTHERING MOVEMENT?

Since becoming a mother I have found myself in countless situations where I’ve been pushed to my limits. I have felt anger like never before. I have felt ambivalence like never before. I have been longing for companionship, community, and to feel appreciated for this invisible mother load. I have felt disconnection to my body and my practice of self-connection.

I think we all know the feeling of time running by and the ambivalent emotions of trying to enjoy and soak  up this precious time when they are little,  but feeling completely drained and depleted while doing it, and it all becomes more like surviving than thriving.

This is not supposed to feel like this.

I’ve been missing the tools to feel seen and heard, and also to support my mind to find calm and my body to feel good. And that’s why I created those tools inside the mothering movement.

We already have so much to do and not enough time, this is not another ‘to do’ this is a ‘support system’ to lean into in the small pockets of everyday life AND a community to engage in and to inspire you to keep practicing!
